Retired professional photographer Richard Wood recently came across a box of negatives he had taken in 1965. In June of that year he moved from Rochester, NY (where he had just graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology to New York City. His hope was to become a photographer for one of the great picture magazines of the day: Life, Look or Saturday Evening Post.
